about

Brain Matters was borne out of our involvement with the Hawaii Dementia InitiativeAARP Hawaii, and work with kupuna who were worried about or already experiencing cognitive decline.

Realizing that not enough people knew or understood how lifestyle impacted their brain health, we set out to bring the latest research on lifestyle interventions and fun, practical approaches for implementation to as many people as possible.

mission

Brain Matters is dedicated to making brain health accessible to all Hawaiians so that everyone has the knowledge and tools to prevent or slow cognitive decline.
